Rumor has it Aug 7. I think that's way too early and good to be true. But with all the leaks early October seems far away ><

If they do something on Aug 7th, I think it will just be them saying, "Hey the iphone is going to be released on xyz"
That being said, I still dont think it will be released until late sept or early oct

Have you thought about reading the 4,893 other threads about this very same topic? Or the almost daily reports on macrumors.com with information about this?
the iPhone 5 (will now be called 'the new iPhone') will be announced on 9/11 and released for sale on 9/21.
At least late September, considering that iOS6 isn't supposed to launch until the fall. I can't see an announcement on August 7, either.
