iphone 5 release in Australia

hi guys does anyone know the earliest we can pick up an iPhone5? i got a message from optus saying that i can pick one up as early as 26th. but thats not early enough so is the apple store the only place i can pick one up on the 21st?

If you preorder them last Friday at around 5pm in the app store, you might get it earlier on 21/09. You can also start camping at the store on the 21/09 but will be a pain though.

The apple store in Broadway Westfield shopping mall might be worth considering. The complex opens at 10am, the same time as the Apple Store. if you go there before hand you might be able to find an entry that will get you at front of the line without too much unseemly haste. The apple stores at Chatswood, Penrith, Hornsby and Castle Towers would offer the same advantage too I think.
