iPhone 5 screen Darker than 4 and 4s when locked?

did anyone else notice that the screen of the iPhone 5 is almost completely black when locked unlike the 4 and 4s??

Mine was too but not so much anymore.
I think my screen is lighter after using it a while.

My lock screen seems to be using auto brightness. Never noticed on previous iOS.

Yeah it is darker when the screens off.
