iPhone 5 screen replacement/refurbished UK cost?

Hi,

Just dropped my iPhone 5 on the concrete outside and completely smashed the front screen and scuffed all the side, i've tried googling to try and find out how much apple charge for the screen replacement without and applecare cover but i cant seem to get a certain answer and i cant seem to find a price in £.

I read somewhere that they will give me a refurbished phone and take the broken one, which is what i'd prefer, as even if the screen is replaced, the side is still going to be scuffed slightly.

Anyway, can anyone tell me how much it costs for Apple (UK) to fix the screen or replace the phone with a refurbished one.

Strange how big the price difference can be between countries. Here in Sweden I got charged £249 ($393) when sending in my daughters 4S with a cracked display. Got a refurb back after about a week.
