Pre ordered from Verizon. It's currently being shipped via FedEx. I prefer FedEx over UPS due to the delivery by 3PM and simply due to the fact that they take better care of their packages than UPS does.
Delivery by 3PM is for businesses. Residential delivery for both carriers is by end of day.
Completely agree, brother. Although, my UPS guy is way cooler than my "quick! Take it! - your neighborhood scares me" guy.
I got a UPS package today (not iPhone related) and it was all beat up and torn. Glad I will be getting mine through FedEx.
Pre ordred from apple.com and it shipped using UPS from China. My partner is a UPS package car driver and makes sure to take good care of customer's packages. I do agree that boxes shipped with FedEx do look like they are in better condition when arriving.
Reason for this is because UPS drivers are in a Union and they are protected no matter what. A lot of UPS drivers do a ding dong ditch and don't even wait few seconds for you to answer.
Fedex drivers aren't in a union and can lose their jobs just randomly throwing boxes and ****.
