iPhone 5 Shipping Time

Hello everyone! After saving up birthday money and doing a lot of chores I will be able to get the iPhone 5 this Friday. My family is going to the Apple store to get me my 15" MacBook Pro for my 16th birthday and I also wanted to buy my iPhone 5 that day. After trying to reserve one for 3 days and calling multiple retailers I have decided that ill have better luck just ordering the iPhone 5 online. With this said, I was wondering if someone can give me a general time of which it takes the iPhone 5 to ship. I know Apple says 3-4 weeks but I thought I read somewhere that a guy got his within 3 days. Thanks for the help and sorry about creating yet another thread.

Mine was ordered September 27th and is scheduled to be delivered between October 30 and November 5. So it's taking a while.
