My iPhone seems to be doing a lot of work when it's in my pocket not being used. iOS says I've used my phone for 4 hours since I took it off the charger 9.5 hours ago before work. That's just impossible, because it was in my pocket all day, except during a 30 minute lunch break.

Following some other threads, I thought I had the problem figured out, but obviously not.

I have already followed all the standard advice regarding turning notifications, location services, push, etc.

I am currently performing a restore through iTunes and will not be installing any apps from the App Store and keeping iCloud turned off for a few days to see if it will help.

Anyone else experience usage while on standby?
