So this morning the alarm from my iPhone 5 started playing (Marimba). The volume level was on maximum. The first two rings were fine. When the third one started, the sound became very distorted. It's if I've got myself a, wait for it, blown speaker. (like in this video (from 0:54) except the iPhone's speakers used to be fine.

So now every time I play sounds at maximum volume or up to 4 levels lower, I get crackling sounds and distortion typical of a blown speaker.

Now this obviously sucks, but what's worse is that this is the 2nd time this is happened! Less than two months ago I've sent this particular iPhone 5 to warranty for this exact same reason! I'm not sure how the first blown speaker happened (I just noticed it one day) but this second one I could definitely hear the difference! The speaker got blown JUST from playing Marimba at max volume. That's just terrible.

I guess I'll send it in for repairs again...
