I wonder if Apple will put a good amount of storage space (120gb+) in the next iPhone even though this will consolidate two devices into one, and render buying an iPod redundant for many iPhone owners.

Will they side step this issue with the cloud? I don't like the sound of that.

Yea, I think 64gb is a possibility,.. but not more. They will keep it low enough so that one still feels compelled to own a iPod also.

I have a 16gb iPhone 4 and I can fit all my music on it. 64gb would definitely be enough for all my apps + games + music and some videos and photos. I'm gonna go with 32gb when the iPhone 5 comes out. I don't think I need 64gb but who knows I might go for it

Honestly I'd be shocked if we don't see a 64 GB iPhone 5. It's time. We've had the option for a 64 GB iTouch for a few years now. There was a photo floating around earlier this year of a prototype iPhone that was 64 GBs running on T-Mobile's network. There is clearly a demand for a 64 GB iPhone. I'm praying it will come this fall.

Here's my guess:

16 GB iPhone 5: $199
32 GB " : $299
64 GB " : $399

Slightly tweaked iPhone 4 8GB becomes iPhone 4S for $99.

The iPad comes with the same amount of storage options. The iTouch 64 GB is currently $399. Makes sense to me.

i doubt you're right there, apple only seems to have 3 different versions of iPhone out at any given time, and since all the talk of the iPhone 4 low end being 8Gb, then it looks like we're only getting 16Gb and 32Gb for the 5 (or whatever they call it).

currently we have an 8Gb 3GS, 16Gb & 32Gb iPhone 4, was the same the previous year for the 3G and 3GS.

don't get me wrong, i'd love a 64Gb, but doubt it's gonna be this year.

All may music takes right around 85GB, which is about 250 albums in lossless format,.. so 64GB is still not quit a resounding solution.

I'll be very disappointed if there is not a 64gb phone. I specifically did not get the iphone 4 because they did not up the space. So I am hoping they do expand to 64 gb. My 32 gb 3gs doesn't even hold all my apps and games, and I have no music or movies on it. I could comfortably fill the 64 gb with items, and 128 would be perfect for me.
