Siri kept turning on every 5 seconds, and my home button was acting up. So, I erased everything and plugged the iPhone into my Macbook to restore it.

iTunes says the iPhone is in recovery mode. I hit restore, and after about 5 minutes, it says the iPhone is rebooting and will power back on.

Immediately after that iTunes message, a new one pops up saying that an iPhone in recovery mode is connected. It's as if the previous restore did nothing.

All this time, and iPhone cable and iTunes logo are on the screen, indicating I should plugin although I already am.

Any help appreciated. Thanks!
