iPhone 5 suddenly stopped sending emails

Hi there...my iPhone 5 has suddenly stopped sending emails last night. The phone still receives them though. And when I hit 'send' after composing an email, it actually seems to send them, but my recipient receives nothing.

Have no clue what has happened. Please help. Thank you

Does it only happen in one location? I suspect it's your ISP. For example Verizon fios won't let people use their own email server for awhile now.

Contact your internet service provider / email prover, or Apple if you are under warranty.

What kind of email are you sending? Yahoo, gmail, exchange, etc.

It's the weirdest thing....all of a sudden the problem solved itself. Maybe it was a glitch with our network but now the phone is back to normal. what the? But thank you all so much for your responses
