iPhone 5 - temperamental predictive text

I have an iPhone 6 and a 5. Does anyone else experience this thing when sometimes the predictive text on the iPhone 5 does not work?
 
so is this just a forum for mates and buddies who simply follow and respond to those they perceive to be popular? WTF
