Hi,

I've had every iPhone since the 3G (skipped the 4s and 5s) and I'm now considering a change to a windows phone.

I just feel a bit bored with iOS and would like to try something different. I tried this about 2 years ago, going from an iPhone 4 to a galaxy s2 and didn't like it and switched back after 2 weeks.

I was just looking for anyone who had made a similar move or had some practical experience of a windows phone. I have a windows 8 laptop and like it, so that's what's making me lean towards a windows phone.

My feeling is that all the phones pretty much do the same these days, just slightly differently. I went back to iPhone after the gs2 because the gs2 felt cheap and android a bit unrefined compared to iOS.

Thanks for any help.

Paul.

I don't have experience with this, but I think you'd have better luck with your question in the "Alternatives to iOS and iOS devices" section: https://forums.macrumors.com/forums/157/
