I'm sure I saw it here, not sure if its true, just to say if I bought a locked iPhone 5 and activated it with a different networks sum, it would work perfectly? Thanks!
 
There were problems with this. Your safest route is that the guy you buy it from activates it first, or they activate it at apple or att store if he/she buys it there. Then you unlock it and put a new sim in.

If you purchase from the Apple Store or AT&T off contract full price the iPhone 5 is unlocked.
