Within the last couple of weeks, after dropping my phone on the ground, my volume down button no longer works with ease. Everything else is working fine, including volume up, vibrate/ring switch and power button. If I torque the phone in the area of the buttons I can usually get it to work. Given when this started giving me trouble and doing some Google research I'm fairly certain this is a hardware issue. I've replaced the battery in my phone myself with success so I'd like to attempt to fix this as well. Would this be the part I need. The volume up and down buttons both have clicking action so I don't think that is the culprit.

I've already tried powering the device on/off and doing a hard reset by holding the home and power button with no success. I'd rather not use assistive touch. Anyone else had this problem and got it fixed?

Can you post a straight on and side view picture of the buttons
