bought an iphone 5 thru apple.com w/ at&t 2yr agreement. upon picking up, i cancelled my order in the store, never, 'activating' the phone thru at&t. The store manager, then let me buy the same device outright w/o a contract. Still, no activation. Brought it home, restored phone, the phone seems to be still locked. Do i need to wait until at&t receives notification that my line was cancelled & never activated in order for the phone to be 'tagged' as 'sold as device only'?
