Im wondering if I can disconnect cricket service and use my iphone 5 with any other service providers in the US.
My model number is ND097LL
IMEI starts with 99.
After being replaced from apple in march
Would I be able to unlock and use any service besides cricket ?

Cricket runs on a CDMA network, meaning that it doesn't "necessarily" use SIM cards. However, using a tool like a GPP sim unlock (just google it and you'll be able to buy one) you can insert an AT&T or T-mobile SIM card into the provided tray and run on their network. To get back on Cricket, just take out the sim. Hope this helps!

Best to find someone on Cricket and sell them your iPhone and then buy the unlocked one from Apple.
