I got my iphone 5 wet-- not submerged but one end in h2o for maybe 5 minutes.. after I got the otter box off it seemed to work. I put it in rice overnight to be safe. next morning the charger plug would not go all the way in. I have tried compressed air. I assaulted the hole with a pin looking for lint, dirt etc. nothing helps...ideas???

Have you looked into the hole under strong light or with a flashlight? I could entirely see a piece of rice being lodged in there.
