so far simple mobile and t-mobile both give me edge is their any carrier that offers 4g for iphone 5

If you mean HSPA+ (as what the iPhone shows as "4G") then yeah most GSM prepaid carrier, EXCEPT T-Mobile, has it.

LTE? None so far.

like what prepaid in usa offers 4g?

In simple term, nobody don't need 4G LTE. A 3.5G (aka HSPA+) network is fast enough with speed up to 10mbps down/ 2mbps up.

Like what the previous posters have said, most regional GSM carriers offers GSM prepaid data plan.

Straight talk, Red Pocket, H2o, AT&T go Phone and T-mobile sim in areas where 1900mhz has been refarmed. I have been using straight talk for 8 months on 3 iphones with out any issues. Here is honest speed test and done all over like Dallas tx, Kansas City, MO, Columbia, MO, Chicago, IL and Champaign, IL
