Supposed fix doesn't fix.

My WIFI is working fine after I had my iPhone replaced due to a faulty earpiece, but when I had the unit with poor WIFI this didn't work.

Move along, nothing to see here...

What is the problem with wifi? I am having an issue with mine. Not sure it's the same problem as you all are having. Thought it might be my network at home but the phone seems to take a long time to load pages sometimes not even loading at all. I have to reboot the phone and then it works. Is this what you all are experiencing?

Yeah right, wish it was that easy.
Tried that many times.
Still doesnt work.
It connects but doesnt get any data.

same here.. didnt work.

My ip5 will connect to my 50/5 wifi..and get 2-5 mbps/ 5 mbp upload..My ipad in the same spot get full speed.

only seems to be my downstream thats and issue. Going to take it to the apple store today.

----------

There was a post from a guy a few days back who said to use TKP and not AES for the protocol for WPA2. He gave a detailed post for the tests he did to get to the root cause issue.

hmmm ill have to try it.. but there is no reason why my wifi should work on my ipad3 ios6 and the same settings not work on my iphone 5

The update fixed my home wifi issue so far. We have internet that's not password protected, it would connect but take forever and not connect from sleep. All seems fine after a short testing period. Now hopefully I can connect to the internet at work that has the pop up acceptance page :/

I was fine until I updated to 6.0.1 and now I lose my wifi everytime I put the phone to sleep. Are there any quick fixes or do I have to wait for the next update?
