The battery died on my iPhone around 2 hours ago, I have plugged it straight into the mains and it has been plugged in for 3 hours and it just will not switch itself on.. I try and manually do it but nothing is happening.

I have never experienced this problem before. :(

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!!

*EDIT* iPhone has now turned itself on, I changed chargers from the main one I got with the phone to the desktop one I bought from Amazon. Wonder if there is a problem with my mains charger? :S

Now that you have it on, plug it in using the charger in question to see if it recognizes it.

There could very well be a problem with the charger. As stated, plug if in again and see what happens.
