So I know people that pre-ordered the iPhone 5 which they will receive this Friday. When these people receive their iPhone 5, is iOS 6 already pre-installed?

I'm expecting my pre-ordered iPhone 5 to arrive 2nd October.

I see. Is it possible to downgrade to 5.1.1 on the iPhone 5? I want to keep it to 5.1.1 till Apple fixes the bugs on 6.
nope, since there's isn't any 5.1.1 firmware that's compatible with the iPhone 5. You're stuck with iOS 6.
This is definitely not good. Can't downgrade from 6 to 5.1.1. Hopefully, Google will bust out the Google Map app very soon. Apple and Google should realize that they will make better things if they work together.
