i see you have already gone to great detail with telling us how many of the possible 400 solutions you have already tried.....

1. check your cable, plug and adapter
2. clean the lint out of your lightning port
3. try a different cable
4. pay your electric bill

start with those

Haha "Pay your electric bill"

Try plugging the iPhone into the computer and check if it chargers there. If it does, its the wall socket or the charging unit. Do other phones charge with the same charger and charger unit? (if you have access to another phone).

What are some of the things you have tried? if any?

it was my attempt to make my post as simple/dumb as theirs. people really need to give more/better information regarding their issues if they want us to help. you don't go to the doctors and say "my arm hurts, help". you tell them how much, when it hurts, how you move it when it does....etc. saying "my phone doesn't charge, help" is way to general...it could be anything.

I totally agree, the OP doesn't mention anything he or she has tried to do to fix it. It must not be important.
