iPhone 5 won't exit greyscale mode

Took my phone out of my pocket and it was black and white. Went into settings to greyscale but toggling does nothing. Occasionally after hanging up a phone call screen reverts back to color but turns to greyscale when home button pushed. Phone was updated to ios8 but I never was in the greyscale settings when this happened. I've restarted phone at least ten times. Any ideas?

In case this might help someone else. I found I had zoom enabled and by turning that off the color came back and I can now toggle greyscale on and off. Maybe it's a glitch with zoom and greyscale. Maybe someone could try it to confirm its just not my phone. iPhone 5, ios8, zoom enabled, greyscale won't toggle.
