Iphone 5 won't load photo's, only videos...

My iPhoto has been acting up, not sure if its my iphone (this is my 2nd iphone 5 and the other was the same). May be IOS 6???

But as soon as I load up iphoto it onlly loads the videos to import and ignores all the photos.

The photos load find in image capture
