iPhone 5 wont reset... tried everything.

Trying to wipe iPhone 5 as i need to sell it, this is normally a simple process.

All it comes up with every time i try and erase content is Verification Failed.

Tried resetting network and settings first, nothing. Tried getting using Wifi, nothing. Tried deactivating find my iPhone and it wont let me...

Seriously wtf lol....

Any help?

Plug it to iTunes and hit restore.
Then when done select setup as new.

It sounds like it's the turning off of Find My Phone that's failing. If you are on iOS 7 and successful in wiping it you will still need to successfully enter your credentials for it to be activated again.

Good catch pnutts.
If turning off find my iPhone fails then you're entering the wrong password.
Try to remember it or go and reset your password.
