Hi!

I just wanted to check if I'm the only one getting yellow vertical lines when taking pictures with a fluorescent light nearby? Especially using HDR. In this case the light was pretty much above my phone. Is this common? Just like the purple lens flare? By that I mean, is it normal?

Oh, and while we're at it. Does the iPhone take any damage if you would expose the camera to direct sunlight when taking a picture? Obviously this doesn't happen often, but I do remember something about point-and-shoot cameras taking damage. If I'm not entirely wrong the reason for that is because it would act like a magnifying glass, which would ruin the lens?

Edit: Vertical lines, if that makes it different.
