iPhone 5?

My birthday is August 27th but my parents already want to know what I want for it. I told them I want to switch carriers (I am on T-Mobile and hate it) or get Beats by Dre. Obviously, if I switch carriers, I have to get a phone as soon as possible. So, my question is, When do you think the iPhone 5 will come out? I do not want to switch carriers, get a new phone, and find out that the new iPhone came out and I have to wait another 2 years. If the iPhone comes out around september then that would be great, otherwise I will get the Beats!

my 2 cents:
Ignoring the phone dilemma, I've read enough reviews basically calling Beats overrated that you'd do better to consider other options. (I'm assuming you're talking about headphones)
