iPhone 5C/5S camera - purple lens flare still exist?

One of the only disappointing things to me about the iPhone 5 was the "purple flare" that was caused from the lens when shooting photos in bright light. I'm curious if Apple has fixed this issue with the new iPhone 5S or iPhone 5C. Can someone who was lucky enough to get a 5S last Friday post and let me know if the purple lens flare issue has been resolved?
