iphone 5c and import new ring-tones -how?

Hi - I have an iphone 5c and cannot understand why I don't find information about how to import new ring tones, via itunes (new laptop Yosemite) or in any other way. I bought a "tone" via iphone directly from iTunes, hoping the iphone would know what to do with it, or rather where to file it, no joy. The standard ring tones from Apple are really not my scene, I prefer Bizet anytime. Where do I look?
