Just wondering what highest resale value would be on iphone 5c based on color?

Keep in mind that highest sales number/most in demand doesn't mean highest resale value. White iPhones traditionally have higher resale value even though they sell more of the black ones.

Seems like the blue has the highest sales number, that means it has the most demand...

Also means that there will be more supply on the used market, so it may not keep its value the best. That said I doubt there will be a huge difference in price between any of the models.

And what's the difference in resale value between the two? 2~3%?

I'm certain it's traditionally more than 2-3% difference between white iPhones and black iPhones. I'd love to find out the current difference but ebay now has an extremely convoluted way of accessing the price trends. They used to display price trends right on the website but now you basically have to create a draft listing (without actually listing it) and view the draft on the ebay app in order to access the price trend.

Never understood this logic, like people keeping comic books unopen in its original packaging. The dang thing is gonna get scratched b4r u can sell it.

I don't think the resale value will be that dependent on the color. Any item is worth what some one is willing to pay.

For example, if I am trying to sell a pink 5c to some one who is buying it for some one who hates pink, it will likely not be worth anything to them. If some one else is buying for a person whose favorite color is pink and they have had a hard time finding a pink 5c, my item become much more valuable to them. Supply and demand.

I would guess that trade in values at places like Best Buy or any of the carriers will be the same no matter what the color is. Of course, that is pure speculation.

I would say, no one here even knows. Its a brand new release from Apple. Why not wait until the C versions are turned in for resale later this year, and even then its not a given any color will be a best value. It depends on who the buyer is and what they want at that time.

Bought a black colored car and was told it was a hot selling car. Later I tried to sell it and was then told the Red version was a killer color over the black version. Go figure.
