Hi Everyone

Im having a situation with this model I checked that on a website: http://leimobile.com/iphone-5s-model-numbers/ were shows that this phone is international and unlocked, does anyone knows if it´s really unlocked?

Here is the list of model numbers for the new iPhone 5S that was released by Apple on September 20th 2013. Model A1533 (GSM) and Model A1533 (CDMA) will work with AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon. It appears you have a Canadian Version, and I don't think unlocked has anything to do with model numbers? Any model can be locked depending on carrier. I know Canadian carriers will lock phones.

You'd best check the status of the actual phone by inputing your IMEI number into a website like :http://iphoneimei.info/

Keep in mind this information may not be entirely accurate either. But if it says invalid sim, then this phone is most likely locked.

If it says invalid sim it is not unlocked. I know it says it may be but it isn't.

Model has nothing to do with the phone being unlocked or locked.

Just because someone else reported the same model from Canada being unlocked, doesn't automatically make yours Unlocked as well.

In Canada Rogers/Fido/Telus/Bell/Koodo/Virgin Mobile Canada carry the same iPhone models as well as the Apple Store carrying the same model as well but selling it unlocked, while the carriers sell it LOCKED.

OP your iPhone is locked and using other sources as your reference to confuse your self is not going to answer the Locked/Unlocked question because you already got the clear answer when you inserted the SIM, your iPhone said "Invalid SIM" = LOCKED

Thank you guys for your help, I went deeply and found out through a Checkmend report that this phone was reported Lost or Stolen to Bell Canada I did not proceed with the purchase.
