Been wondering is it possible to charge my iphone 5s with a 2A charger? Been trying myself but im not seeing any much difference. Is it because the 5s doesnt support fast charging so it only limits to 1A charge? Or you have to really deplete the battery(0 -20 %) then only it takes more than 1A charge?

Just bought myself a power bank that supports 2A and 1A and been trying out both ports on my iphone and both gave me the same charge( 5 mins 5 % for both ports)

Yes it is.

The phone will only charge as fast as it can, no matter how much current you make available. As an analogy, you can drink no faster out of a pitcher than out of a glass, even though more water is available.

Thanks for the reply. Guess I just bought a 2A powerbank for nothing haha but does the iphone 6 support fast charging? Like 2a charge?
