iPhone 5s and 5c prices and storage sizes

Since I am not all the excited about 6/6+ I won't be upgrading from my 5s so, I was looking to upgrade my daughter's iPhone 4s to 5c but I noticed that Apple crippled it - now it only has 8GB of storage yet the price difference between 5S and 5c remained $100. WTF Apple. That stupid 8GB will be almost full after installing all the Apple apps alone. What a jerk move on the Apple side as even iPod touch or nano do not offer such lame capacity. Nice way to ruin otherwise a decent entry phone for kids.
