Guys , I have a dual band router and set two wifi ap -one is 2.3Ghz the second 5GHz. When testing both if them on Samsung Galaxy s4 - the second 5GHz one is almost 40% faster then 2.3Ghz. But when testing them on iPhone 5s (ios 7.1.2) - both ap have the same speed.... anyone that has dual band router and checked the same?

I have a fast internet connection and a dual band router. See my attached screenshot.

Things to look out for:
- WMM is on
- iPhone 5s is actually connected to 5 MHz band and for testing purposes is the only device on that band.

What speeds are you getting?

My iPhone 5S tops out around 96mbps while laptops will get into the 150/160 range. This on N wireless.

What way do you use to measure the speed? If speedtest -then it depends on the maximum speed provided from your provider. I get the maximum I have as per my contract 100mbps (in fact it shows 96)
