I'm still on the fence as to whether or not to upgrade. I have a 4S. Am I going to see a noticeable difference in Internet speed when on AT&T's network? Is it more or less a sure thing just due to upgrading the phone, or, it dependent on my area?

4G LTE is available in my area. Does that mean I should see a significant boost?

I'm on AT&T's network as well, and I did notice a big difference when I went from my 4s to my 5. I plan on upgrading to the 5s as well. AT&T's LTE is amazingly fast overall, truly.

Yes, an exponential change. In my area HSPA+ or 3G+ was around 3mbps, LTE is around 30mbps.

I have ATT in an LTE area and when I went from 4S to 5 I was blown away. Ended up trying out the nexus 4 for a while and the lack of LTE was brutal after being so used to the extra speed.

Excellent. I decided on a "like new" refurb iPhone 5 from AT&T, 64GB for $249. Sounds like I should see the same benefits.
