Hello,

when I first got my iPhone 5s the battery life was good, up until about 1-2 weeks ago, when I noticed a degradation in its performance.

I purchased a case for it about 2 weeks ago as well, so I wonder if when I have been charging it its case if it has been getting too warm, which according to Apple's website, can degrade the battery.

The only other explanation I have is that it could be a software bug, as I have not received a notification from Apple saying I have one of the affected units with bad battery due to the manufacturing defect.

Are there any explanations other than what I have come up with #?

I use Wi-Fi at home, with 3 dots of LTE.

I need to pay more attention to the signal strength at work. Anyway, the signal strength has remained the same; the battery life has not.
