So, my phone was on 91% most of the day, which I knew wasn't right, considering I had used my phone a lot. It eventually dies, while still on 91%. I plug it into the charger, and it takes 10 minutes to come back on (which seems a lot longer than it usually does when it dies completely).

Obviously, there are some issues with the battery. Considering that this is an outdated iPhone, it would make more sense to upgrade than to replace the battery.

At this point, is it possible/likely for the battery to just die completely, rendering the phone useless? Are there any issues with using the phone, despite the failing battery?

I intend to upgrade within the next few months, but I would like to wait as long as possible.

Thanks for any input.
