iPhone 5s darkens for a second after unlocking?

On my iPhone 5s when I unlock it either by Touch ID or passcode it goes dark for a second then the springboard appears? But when I try it on my iPhone 5c it goes immediately to the home screen? Does anyone know what this could be? And I have already done to restores and that didn't fix it. Thanks

One of the new animations Apple packaged with iOS7 for 5S.
Wife's 5S - update to 7.1 does it also.

Mine does the same thing. It's just the way they programmed it.

So yours kinda get dark after you unlock it? And when you wake up your phone you lock screen wallpaper will zoom?

It get darks if you have different wallpapers for lock and home screens.
