So after taking out the logic board of an iPhone 5S I noticed a small metal plate falling out of the housing. I did not recall removing this plate, nor did it show up in any disassembly video I watched. I puzzled for a long time trying to find out where it came from, when I came across a picture on iFixit that had the part clearly shown on one picture, and one picture only (see the attachment).
This leads me to believe this part came from somewhere in that vicinity, but there is no mention of it in the iFixit guide.
Anybody have any idea where this part belongs?
