iPhone 5S exiting apps by looking away?

Hey just like the tittle says: is there a feature to exit apps on the iPhone 5S by simply looking away from the phone? A friend says he's able to do it on his 5S but this wasn't a feature I was aware of and is it similar to the Samsung Galaxy S4 features? Sounds cool.

Actually this is a feature of the iphone in iOS 7. Go to settings general accessibility switch control and setup your switches there. There is an option to make your phone imitate the home button by turning your head to the right or left.

that is awesome!!

I cant seem to get it to work though
 
It works for me. U have to enable it and then position the phone in front of your space. When it's ready you should get two vertical purple lines on the edges of the display that change in size as you move your head in one direction or the other.

Wow this is confusing.. Trying to set this up....
My screen is doing all kinds of crazy gestures with lines and boxes... I can't seem to get it to stop... even after a hard reboot..

I loled beacuase I was sure you were pulling his hair, having him look for made up setttings.
Then became very confused and finally decided to check if they were really there and lo an behold!

I cant believe this has not gotten more attention. Awesome feature if maybe not that useful yet.

Lol yeah.

FYI to get it to actually work without getting annoying I had to turn off auto scanning which can be found in the screen shot below.

When I try to setup moving my face following the scanning lines I get a message saying that it can't find my face or my face is too close to the camera.

I guess I will play with it more..
 
Wait; that means you could set it up so that when you turn your head as the significant other comes through the door, it closes out your prons automatically? :eek:
