iPhone 5s from US to UK

Hi all

Just a quick question, I am going to Las Vegas on Saturday and was wondering, I I bought an iPhone whilst out there, would it work in the UK as long as it was unlocked?

Also will it work with my iTunes?

And what are the odds of then being available sim free in the US?
