Has anyone had the Preparing for shipment status yet?

Starting to freak out a bit that we've still not had any activity. #

I originally ordered from AT&T at 3:10 am EDT on the 20th (delay was due to several attempts to order first through Apple, each of which failed when they couldn't verify upgrade eligibility with AT&T), and when there was still no movement from them 3 days later and the in-store pickup option became available from Apple, I canceled the AT&T order. Then, of course, the in-store pickup option went away, so I placed an online order with Apple on the 24th. Argh. Still sitting in "processing," delivery "estimation" (or lack thereof) October.

The irony is that I don't even WANT gold anymore after seeing it in person. I want silver. But changing the order would shuffle me even further down in the queue and I'd be lucky to get it by summer ;), so I wait.
 
I was late to the party and didn't order my AT&T 64GB Gold until 9/27. I'm in the "October" shipping group. Don't expect it anytime soon, but that's ok.
 
32GB gold for TMobile ordered at 12:06AM on the Apple store on 9/20.
"Preparing for Shipment" for nearly 30 hours now.
I'm getting really antsy with the lack of movement, especially with the Chinese holiday coming up.
 
Good thread for us 64gb golders..

I ordered mine on the 25th after a nightmare time on launch day in line, was able to get a couple 32gb blacks tickets but didn't want them so i wasted about 3hrs standing in line...

Ordered through AT&T around 9:30am and they duplicated my order 3 times somehow and it created a complete mess over the next 5 days. I ended up canceling and then ordering on the 25th with apple for a gold 64gb AT&T.

Update this thread when yours ship!

At least we will have an idea then once we see the 20th, 21st, 22nd..ect start shipping
 
Ordered mine on Sept. 20th 3:26PM via Apple Store app. I'm still processing and I even paid a extra $10 for faster shipping...:rolleyes:

Confirmation email sent 2:07am CDT.

The transition from Processing to Preparing for Shipment was overnight.
I seriously doubt that I will be waiting until Oct 8 for delivery.
 
unless you expecting it earlier I would not stress.

Apple is still claiming delivery 7-10 oct, so that has not changed. If your status does not change by the end of this week, then expect it to be delivered late.
