I don't know if anyone has ever experienced this issue before but i noticed recently that my iphone 5s has very quiet with headphones in even on full volume. I initially made sure the volume limit was set to off, cleaned out the headphone socket, but could find no debris. I then bought a new pair of headphones, still to no avail. I was about to chalk this one down to a loss, however as I was listening to music walking through town this morning I got an email notification and suddenly afterwards the phone returned to being loud again. I paused the music and pressed play and it went back to its low volume again.
I have tested it out and I can only achieve full volume on the headphones if I send myself an email and wait for the notification to come beeping through on my phone. Weird I know, but has anyone else ever come up against this issue and solved it? If so, how can I resolve it?
