iPhone 5s ios 7.0.1 assistive touch lag

I finally found the culprit to all the lag issues I face on the iPhone 5s. Having assistive touch turned on lags the entire os. Messages animation and games crawl with assistive touch on.

I just found that out today! it is the assistive touch that's causing it!
