so i have fat fingers and i am having a helluva time using the keyboard! i have had iphone 3G, 3GS, 4, 4S, and now 5S. i feel like im having the worst time now?

anyone know of a fix to make the keys bigger? or am i destined for a bigger phone such as GS4?

I think we're both being ignored in favor of the OP wanting to gripe about it!

That's a favorite technique used here on macrumors by many.

Why fix something or even address solutions when it's so much easier to whine about it?

Yes, you're clearly correct!!! It's the overall victim mentality that pervades modern society.

easy there girls. landscape still is an issue for me, but thanks for your answers! i guess we can know close the thread because you posted a solution!

To me, the screen seems skinnier because it's taller. Maybe that's why the keyboard seems smaller? Optical illusions.

Coming from my 4S, that's what I noticed, anyhow.

Oh come on!! Your post that ended with the boo was blatantly whiney! LOL

It's really just an adjustment period, which is something to be expected when switching phones. You should eventually get used to it and make less typing errors.

ETA: Using iOS 7 is almost like switching to a different phone model, in a way. You're not the only one that has had a keyboard problem, it is slightly different.

I had the same issue, when I switched to a full touchscreen phone, from having always used ones with physical keyboards, such as the Palm Treo and Palm Pre.

I was totally whining and griping about it and was upset to the point where I was considered returning the phone, but my friend just responded and said: You'll get used to it, give it time!!!

And he was right, I did get used to it, I just needed to calm down and slow down typing for a little while.

Now, I can type just as fast on a touchscreen with one finger as I used to with both thumbs on a physical keyboard.
