iPhone 5 or earlier Iphone 5s Laggy Face Time

Hi all

After update to IOS 12.4.1 the Iphone 5s became laggy during video call in face time.

Is it normal or should I downgrade the IOS ?

They are tempting you to get the soon announced iPhone 11.

:D

To be serious, I have an SE and face time goes fine. Can´t say on the 5S.
