I realized my iPhone 5s's home button has a loud click sound which is no where near the sound my iphone 5 made, is this normal or should i go for a replacement? I have the space gray model by the way, thanks

You do realize this is a public forum and people are going to repost and repost and it will never ever end. I can see your agenda with that post while trying to stay within forum guidelines. Repost will never end might as well get use to it :)

I know, I know - I don't normally get involved, but when a thread with almost exactly the same title has already had so many views and posts - I mean, come on !?!?!?!

It took me all of 15 seconds max to find it with the forum search.

Anyway, hopefully it'll help the OP . . . in more ways than one.

;)

I still cannot understand for the life of me why the home button is causing such concern. It is redesigned, and built sturdier, the button isn't as soft. It will wear in. Please people stop acting like a "loud" home button (it isn't loud) is the end of the world. Your phone is fine. You have the most top of the line smartphone out right now, enjoy it and stop worrying about the click of an effing button.

Yep, you can tell this is the iPhone forum.

The 5S does have a little louder click to it when you push the home button.

I see what you mean there ;) hopefully :)

The home button isn't made of the same material as last phone thats why. Think a child could had figured that one out.

The funny thing is, people used to complain when the home button was too soft and it would fail eventually, now that it's built tougher people are complaining because it's too hard to press, ridiculous.
