I've been through Google and Bing and cannot seem to find anyone else with this problem.

A few days ago my iPhone 5s (OS8.1) began ducking the volume when I'm listening to Music. The volume starts low whenever I start a song, but then if I scrub the progress bar it shoots up to normal. If I pause it and play it again, it's back down low and I have to re-scrub. If it runs to the end of a song, it starts the next song with low volume all over again.

I've turned off and on EQ and all the volume controls, rebooted, but nothing works.

And ideas?

Thanks!

Restore the settings perhaps? Yo have to reconfigure all of them, but it may work, and it is not as tedious as a full restore, because you do not lose data.

I'll give that a shot; I've tried everything except the involved reset stuff... thx. :)
