So... Are we gonna have the iPhone 5S next year?

What do you think Apple will change from from the iPhone 5?

I think Apple will increase the camera's megapixels and will add NFC
 
Quad core A7 with 8 graphics cores
2GB ram
16mp camera
Same design as 5

There comes a point when speed improvements aren't really relevant. The iPhone 5 is so fast, that a speed increase might even be imperceptible.

I'm predicting a better camera, Siri improvements, some type of new sensor like the gyroscope was for the 4S and some neat software features to make the purchase worth it(like Siri).
 
iPhone 6, a highly improved black coating. All other parts of the handset remains the same so people can tell it's an iPhone.

Minor software improvements & a slight increase in price.

It will sell like gangbusters.

There will not be an increase in price. It's at a nice marketing spot now. The unsubsidized price may increase though.

I agree on the coating. Needs to be done. It might even be water proof. I'd love that feature, but AppleCare+ sales wouldn't.

Ok, let's get something straight. A rumor is something that is based on at least the faintest HINT of a fact or at least a source.

Do not confuse a RUMOR with a total GUESS.

EDIT: BTW the iPhone 5S will have a 16mp camera and an espresso maker, oh and Siri will be changed to Steve Jobs' ghost who will remind you every twenty minutes to backup your hard drive using Time Machine, oh and also the phone will call people for you without you even asking you to do it resulting in a lot of random phone calls which will be a new feature called "Magic Call" and people will love it.

Rumoring is fun :)
 
I see an increase in megapixels for the camera. NFC is still debatable I do believe. I'm thinking they may hold that off for at least the iPhone 6.

To soon to guess about what they will change, but based on past updates we can be pretty much guaranteed that we will have a 5S next year, and that it will be a small update with the same basic design.

In addition to that most likely when it is announced there will be a lot of complaining here on macrumors about how it isn't as good as some of the other android phones and predictions of Apple's demise because Steve Jobs would have never allowed such a small upgrade. After that will come the actual release when they sell millions of them and most of the complaining stops and is replaced by threads asking about the iPhone 6.
